The next big thing in sound
MartinLogan has released two new product lines — the Motion and the Motion XT — completely reimagined with the Gen2 Obsidian Folded Motion tweeter.
We've got some super exciting news to share with you! MartinLogan, the leader in high-performance loudspeakers, has just released not one but two new product lines — the Motion® and the Motion® XT. These premium loudspeakers have been completely reimagined with a fresh attitude, sleek design and advanced audio technology. The Motion® Series has been designed from the ground up, utilising the most advanced technologies and materials, while the design options in Gloss Black, Walnut or Satin White will complement any decor.
New features
The Gen2 Obsidian Folded Motion® Tweeters are upgraded with new larger magnet structures, which improve performance with lower distortion and higher output. The Motion® XT Series takes it up a notch with the highest-performance variant of MartinLogan's signature FMT technology, the Gen2 Obsidian Folded Motion® XT Tweeter — the most effortless and detailed sound in the Motion range, with a 40% increase in surface area.
Meticulously selected after reviewing nearly 50 design iterations, the Folded Motion Waveguide enhances the consistency, dispersion and output of the Gen2 tweeters, ensuring consistent performance across a wide range of listening positions while minimising unwanted room reflections.
All-new cone materials are aligned with their in-wall/in-ceiling siblings for timbre matching. The Motion® XT receives Nomex-reinforced Kevlar woofers for the critical midrange frequencies, while Motion® receives woven fibreglass woofers.
Other features include MartinLogan's new fully adjustable, tool-less feet with anti-vibration properties for fast levelling on any flooring, and Secure Lock Grilles with stealth mounting tabs. To top it off, the McCracken-Vojtko crossovers have been refined through extensive anechoic and in-room measurements and blind listening tests, with the low-distortion philosophy of MartinLogan's signature Vojtko crossover.
Get ready to experience the best in high-performance loudspeakers with the new Motion® and Motion® XT series from MartinLogan. Happy listening!
