The JBL Stage 240B is the smallest speaker in the new JBL Stage Series, designed and engineered at JBL's Acoustic Engineering Centre of Excellence in Northridge, California. Compact in size but uncompromising in engineering, it brings professional loudspeaker technology into the home in a versatile, wall-mountable bookshelf format.

The defining feature is the Next Generation High-Definition Imaging waveguide. The patented HDI horn geometry controls the dispersion of high-frequency sound with precision, directing the tweeter output evenly across the listening area and integrating it smoothly with the woofer output through the crossover region. The result is consistent, detailed imaging regardless of where the listener is positioned in the room.

The 1-inch anodised aluminium dome tweeter delivers high-frequency clarity with the low distortion and durability that a hard dome material provides. Anodised aluminium resists the surface degradation that affects softer dome materials over time, maintaining performance consistency across years of use.

The 4.5-inch Polycellulose ribbed cone woofer handles the bass and lower midrange with the deep, punchy low-frequency signature that JBL is known for. Polycellulose combines the stiffness needed for accurate pistonic motion with enough internal damping to control resonance, producing bass that is both extended and controlled for a speaker of this size.

The precision 2-way crossover manages the handover between drivers cleanly, keeping each transducer within its optimal operating range. Five-way binding posts accept a wide range of speaker cable terminations including bare wire, pin connectors, spade lugs, and banana plugs for flexible installation.

The integrated wall mount bracket and quarter-inch 20 insert for aftermarket mounts make the Stage 240B genuinely versatile, suitable for bookshelf placement, dedicated speaker stands, or wall-mounted surround and stereo applications. Anti-slip pads protect surfaces when used on shelves or furniture.
